Introduction

Meshed Mobility is a mobile App from Meshed Group available to download for free in iOS and Andriod. The App is used to connect Meshed Platforms to Students to access their information on their smartphones.

The Meshed Mobility App gives Students easy access to their information; Course details, Timetables, Results, Payment history, plus it makes general notices, messages, and warnings available directly on their smartphone.



Configuration

The following is required to configure Meshed Mobility in your Meshed Platform:

  • Student Portal must be enabled in the Meshed Platform.
  • Request to activate the Meshed Mobility App feature by sending an enquiry to support@meshedgroup.com.au


Alert Notifications on the Lock or Home screen

The Meshed Mobility App conveniently pops up notifications on the Lock/Home Screen directly on the Student's smartphone when:

  • Any communication is sent to the Student.
  • Grades are updated for the student.
  • The Student is enrolled in a Course or Subject
  • Payment has been received from the Student (both Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees)



Diary Notes 

Once configured, the Push to Mobile App feature will be enabled for the Student Diary Notes on the Staff Portal (Student Services user role). 

To use the Push to Mobile App function:

  • Navigate to Student menu tab
  • Search for Student Name
  • Click the Action Icon to access the Student Profile Summary page
  • Click the  Action Icon to view the Student Communication Log page.


Once the Meshed Mobile App feature is enabled a new checkbox option Push to Mobile App is available.


Tick the checkbox to send the log entry to the Student in the Communication section of the Meshed Mobility App.


Email 

Email sent to a Student from the Student Profile Summary, and recorded in the Student Communication Log will automatically be sent to the Student in the Communication section of the Meshed Mobility App.



Letters 

Emails sent to a Student when using Reports > Generate Letters functionality will automatically be sent to the Meshed Mobility App when the User selects a “Send letter content as Email” option.


Communication Notes

Once the Meshed Mobile App feature is enabled, the MobileApp Notes Action Icon will be available to allow users to manage the communication notes available for the Student in the Communication section of the Meshed Mobility app.

To access Student MobileApps Notes:

  • Navigate to Student menu tab
  • Search for Student Name
  • Click the Action Icon to access the Student Profile Summary page
  • Click the  Action Icon to view the Student Communication Log page
  • Click the  Action Icon to view the Student Mobile App Communication Notes page



Users can display or hide communication, using the display tick box option, that will be visible by the Student in the Communication section of the Meshed Mobility App.




App Download

iOS version

  • Go to App Store
  • Search using “Meshed Mobility” keyword.
  • Click Get/Download to install to your mobile device.

Android version

  • Go to Google Play
  • Search using “Meshed Mobility” keyword.
  • Click Get/Download to install to your mobile device.
