51 | Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) | Client has been successfully assessed against the required learning or competency outcomes for previously unrecognised skills and knowledge achieved outside the formal education and training |
52 | Recognition of Prior Learning not granted | Assessed for RPL, the student didn't pass RPL assessment and elected not to undertake training |
53 | Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) | Client has previously successfully completed the requirements for a unit of competency or module and is now required to be reassessed to ensure that the competence is being maintained. |
53 | Recognition of Current Competency not granted | Assessed for RCC, but the student didn't pass RCC validation process and elected not to undertake training. |
60 | Credit Transfer (CT) | Client has previously completed a unit/s of competency and has been granted application for mutual recognition |
65 | Superseded qualification | Use this for incomplete units where a client has been transitioned to a newer version of the qualification |
70 | Continuing enrolment | Used to indicate that a student is expected to complete the unit in a subsequent calendar year. The student may or may not have commenced the unit. This code must not be used to report unit enrolments that are undergoing RPL assessment process. |
90 | no longer valid | The Outcome Identifier National code “90” is no longer a valid code, and will result in an error in the AVETMISS Validation Software (AVS). This means you cannot pass validation using the outcome identifier “90” and will need to replace all records that contain this data with the “70 - continuing enrolment” outcome code.

82 | Non-assessed enrolment - Withdrawn or not satisfactorily completed | Code 82 may only be used for withdrawals from units of competency / modules which are NOT being claimed for funding by the Department. |
