VET assessments are designed to be practical and relevant to determine whether students meet standards for specific skills and knowledge. Common assessment methods include:

• Practical Demonstrations: Assessing students in a real or simulated work environment to demonstrate their skills.

• Workplace Assessments: Evaluating performance in the actual workplace.

• Written Tests and Assignments: Testing theoretical knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.

• Projects and Portfolios: Compiling evidence of work over time to demonstrate competency.

• Observations and Interviews: Conducted by trainers and assessors to verify skills and knowledge.
