As part of our commitment to continuous Product development and improvement, the Meshed Team are busy working on a range of New Features, Enhancements (Major and Minor), and User Documentation updates.
Here is an overview of some of the items that have recently been released.

Preset Reports
The Workflow system now includes a new feature called "Preset Reports," making it easier for users to run various reports quickly and efficiently.
You can find all the default reports conveniently listed under the "Preset Reports" menu.
- Report Name: Click on the name of any report to view its detailed information.
Report Details
Search Reports by
Report List: Easily find the report you need by selecting it from the list of available reports.
Report Name & Form: Narrow down your search by filtering reports based on the report name and form name.
Requested Date: Further refine your search by filtering reports based on the date they were requested.
Export Reports
Export to Excel: If you need to save a report, simply click on the "Export to Excel" button to download the report as an Excel file.
Reset Search Filters
Reset Function: If you want to clear all your search criteria and start fresh, just click the reset icon. This will quickly return you to the default report list.
Report Names
1. No. of Requests submitted between two dates
This report allows you to view all requests that has been submitted with request submitted date within a specific date range. It provides a overview of the submissions, helping you track and analyse requests activity over time.
Search by Request Name/Form Name: Enter the request name or form name to find all related submitted requests.
Report Columns:
Request Name: The title or name of the submitted request.
Form Name: The name of the form associated with the request.
Requested By: The name of the person who submitted the request.
Request Status: The current status of the request (e.g., Open, Pending, Closed).
Request Start Date: The date when the request was initiated.
Request End Date: The date when the request is expected to be completed.
Requested Date: The date on which the request was submitted.
2. No. of Tasks assigned to particular staff in between two dates
This report helps you see all the tasks that have been assigned to a specific staff person/role within a certain date range. It gives you a clear picture of the workload and task details for that staff member/role.
Search by staff role / person name: Enter the staff person name/role to find all the tasks assigned to them
Report Columns:
Task ID: A unique identifier for each task.
Request Name: The name of the request that the task is part of.
Task Name: The specific name or title of the task.
Requestor Name: The name of the person who submitted the request.
Assigned To: The name of the staff member who is assigned with the task.
Requested Date: The date when the request was submitted.
Priority: The priority level of the task (e.g., High, Medium, Low).
Status: The status of the task (e.g., Open, In Progress, Completed).
3. No of Requests submitted by particular student between two dates
This report lets you view all the requests submitted by a specific student within a chosen date range. You can easily track the student’s submissions and their details.
Search by Student ID: Enter the student's ID to find all their submitted requests.
Report Columns:
Request Name: The name of the submitted request.
Form Name: The name of the form submitted by the student
Requested By: The name of the student who submitted the request.
Request Status: The current status of the request (e.g., Open, Pending, Closed).
Request Start Date: The date when the request was initiated.
Request End Date: The date when the request is expected to be completed.
Requested Date: The date on which the request was submitted.
4. No of Overdue tasks of particular staff
This report shows tasks that are overdue for a specific staff member. It includes tasks where the deadline date has passed and the task is still open (e.g., New, In Progress, To Do). Completed tasks are not included in this report.
Search by Saff role/name: Enter the staff person’s name or role to find all their overdue tasks
Report Columns:
Task ID: A unique identifier for each task.
Request Name: The name of the request that the task is part of.
Task Name: The specific name or title of the task.
Requestor Name: The name of the person who made the request.
Assigned To: The name of the staff member who is assigned to the task.
Requested Date: The date when the request was submitted.
Deadline Date: The date by which the task was supposed to be completed.
Priority: The priority level of the task (e.g., High, Medium, Low).
Status: The status of the task (e.g., New, In Progress, To Do).

Submitted Forms
Workflow student portal is enhanced by adding a new menu “Submitted Forms” for the students:
- to view / preview submitted form requests
- download forms pdf
- preview form in HTML format
This enhancement provides students to track and manage their submitted forms and requests.
The grid view displays all submitted forms, sorted by the request submission date in descending order.
- Serial Number of Requests: Number for each request
- Request Name: The title or name of the form request.
- Start Date: The start date associated with the request.
- End Date: The end date associated with the request.
- Requested Date: The date the student/staff submitted the form.
- Requestor Name: The name of the student who submitted the request.
- Action Icon: Icon to preview/download the form as a PDF.
Click on “Request Name”(hyperlink) to preview the submitted form details as shown in screenshot below:

Permission tool tip
On the Home >>Configuration >> Permission sub menu, information icons have been added next to each user’ permission list. When an Admin user hovers the mouse, a brief description of the access level is displayed for that specific user permission in the Workflow.
Forms
The forms feature has been enhanced for a better user experience to include the following.
- Form name(submit hyperlink for form): Added the form link as hyperlink for the user to click and access the form
- Action icon “Submit” button: Updated the submit button view in UI for the user to access the form and submit.
Enhancement has been done both in staff portal and student portal
Staff portal:
Form name (submit hyperlink) : click on form name to access and submit the form
Action icon “Submit” button: click Submit button to open the form, fill the details and submit.
Student Portal:
Form name (submit hyperlink) : click on form name to access and submit the form
Action icon “Submit” button: click Submit button to open the form, fill the details and submit.

Publishing a Workflow
Meshed Workflow has been enhanced to provide functionality to manage Publishing of a Workflow.
Publishing a Workflow enables Users to submit Forms to generate a Request and initiate the process. Unpublished Workflows are not available to Users.

Request Templates Grid
Meshed Workflow has been enhanced to provide improved organisation, navigation, and display of the Request Templates for a Process.
Tabs display Request Templates grouped by:
Published
Draft
All
Selection of a Tab will result in the Request Templates information displaying accordingly.
Information displayed in the grid now includes if the Request Template is Published or Draft.

Online Forms Grid
Meshed Workflow has been enhanced to provide improved organisation, navigation, and display of the Online Forms.
Tabs display Online Forms grouped by:
Approved
Unapproved
Disabled
Selection of a Tab will result in the Online Form information displaying accordingly.
Information displayed in the grid now includes the name of the mapped Request Template (if Mapped) and if it is Published or Draft.
