Administration and Marketing

Introduction

A post-training quiz is a set of questions, accompanied by their correct answers, intended for use by participants’ following the completion of a training session within a Meshed training program.  This is an effective tool for allowing participants to self-assess their understanding and knowledge, identify areas for improvement, and reinforce their understanding.

Some of the questions are designed to require critical thinking and the application of knowledge rather than mere recall.  In addition to correct answers, explanations or additional information may be included to enhance participants' understanding.

Instructions

Please attempt each question, and refer to the provided answers to check whether your responses were correct or not. This immediate feedback helps you gauge your understanding, provides a review of material you may have misunderstood, or identifies areas where you may need to gain further knowledge or clarification.

Question 1

Question: What does the Agent status ‘Publish’ Checkbox do?

 Answer:

Tick this Checkbox if you want to publish Agents assigned this status in the Meshed Platform Public Portal Agent List.

 

Question 2

Question: How do you get a list of Students associated with an Agent in the Meshed Platform?

 Answer:

A list of Students associated with an Agent can be created and exported from the Marketing > View Agent List > View Student List Action Icon which displays the Student List window. The Excel Icon will download the Student List in an Excel format. 

  

Question 3

Question: Can an Agent have more than one Address?

 Answer:

Yes.

Agent information can be managed for a number of different Address types:

  • Office

  • Postal

  • Billing

  • Corporate

 

Question 4

Question: What information is saved for Agent Contacts?

 Answer:

Users can manage multiple Contacts for an Agent.  Contacts would typically be employees of an Agent.

Agent Contact details include:

  • Title

  • Name (First and Last)

  • Phone

  • Fax

  • Mobile

  • Email

  • Designation

  • Department

  • MARA Number (Migration Agents Registration Authority)

  • QEAC Number (Qualified Education Agent Counsellor)

  • Status - Active or Inactive

 

Question 5

Question: How can a User with Sadmin or Admin user role track changes that are made in the Platform database by any User?

 Answer:

View Log (Admin > View Log) allows access to track the changes that have been carried out at various elements of the system such as Student details, Student Course details, Results, Attendance, Payments.

Question 6

Question: In the Offer Document Checklist what are the two pre-defined values for Document Type and what is the difference between them?

 Answer:

The System provides two pre-defined values for Document Type:

  • In_application will group documents required prior to issuance of offer and are to be submitted during the application process at Step 5.

  • Post_application will group documents required after the application process is completed.

In addition to these pre-defined values, users can configure custom values for Document Type using the System Fields Setup feature.

Question 7

Question: Where in the Meshed Platform do you enable the USI Integration feature?

 Answer:

This is enabled in the Admin > Configuration and Setup > College/Provider Info section.

Question 8

Question: What User Role can access the Improvement Register? What is the Improvement Register used for?

 Answer:

Users with the Admin or Sadmin role can access the Improvement Register (Admin > Improvement Register) to manage and track feedback, comments, or suggestions received from different stakeholders, e.g. Students or Staff. 

 

Question 9

Question: Can an Admin or Sadmin User see who has been logging in to the Meshed Platform?

 Answer:

Meshed Platforms allows Admin and Sadmin Users to view other Users who have accessed the system - the date/time they have logged in and what IP address they have used to log in.

To view the Activity Track results, follow the instructions below:

  • Click Users > User IP Activity Track

  • Select the required Search Criteria

  • Click Search

  • The Activity Tracker results are displayed 

 The Activity Track results can be filtered using search criteria based on:

  • User Type - All, Anonymous, Agent, Staff, Student, Unknown

  • Activity - All, Application, Online Test, Account Login, Unspecified

  • Date Range or User Name

This makes it easier to track the activities Users have been working on.

This information can be exported in an Excel format as required.

Question 10

Question: Where in the Meshed Platform is an Agent’s initial User Account (user name and password) created?

 Answer:

To create the Agent User Account:

  • Click Marketing > View Agent List

  • Click the Edit Agent Profile Action Icon

  • Click the Create User link

  • Enter the Username and Password (or select to have the System generate a Random Password).

  • Enter Security Question and Security Answer. The default question can be changed and Agents can change the question and answer when they login to the System.

  • Click Create New Account.

The Agent will receive an auto generated email notification to advise their account has been set up which will include user login details (username and password). The Agent can change their password once they log in the system.
