Enrolment License Type and Calendar Semesters
When managing Semesters, Meshed Group recommends there should not be multiple Semesters for the same Calendar Set for the same Semester period as defined by the Semester Start and Semester Finish dates.
The Enrolment License Type uses Student enrolments per Semester to determine fees (as per license documentation). Hence multiple Semesters for the same Semester period can result in multiple fees. i.e. if a Student is enroled in multiple Semesters for the same Semester period there may be multiple fees for that Student.
Multiple Semesters for the same Semester period also increases the complexity, for example when timetabling Classes or searching/filtering using Semesters.
If there is an identified need for multiple Semesters for the same Calendar Set for the same Semester period as defined by the Semester Start and Semester Finish dates please first discuss with the Meshed Support Team (support@meshedgroup.com.au).
