The initial set up requires meticulous review of each processes as the data we enter during this stage will be used across all related functionalities in the platform. |
Applications and Admissions Management | Applications and Admission Management Guide follows the process on how to manage students' application to enrolment. The process starts with our multiple student application modes - via admissions or via the public portal. |
Student Management | Student Management guide allows you to manage the student's life cycle from enrolment to monitoring their academic progress until they finished their course. |
Teacher Management | This module provides step by step Teacher management by Administrator. The guide includes setting teacher information on the system, subjects they teach, to keeping their documents e.g. qualifications, certifications etc. communication exchanges and timetable view, |
Timetable Management | Timetable management module provide administrators step by step instructions on how to create, setup and manage timetables for students. |
Academic Progress and Management | Academic progress and management guide covers all the relevant Meshed Higher-Ed functionalities in managing students' academic progress from the start of the student journey until they complete their course. This includes assessment set up and results grading, Intervention strategies to support students' progress and Attendance management. |
Finance Management | Finance management module covers all the relevant functionalities utilised by accounts team to manage student accounts, employer and provider accounts. |
Student Portal | Student Portal is an important feature within Meshed Higher-Ed platform to increase Institute engagement with Student. Student Portal will allow Student to view their timetable information such as the subjects, time, room and teacher information. Students can also view their Subject or unit results and also if applicable view assessment results. Student can view their invoices for Tuition and miscellaneous fees and also be able to download the receipt. Student portal increases transparency between Institute and Student and improves better relationship and also reduces the enquiry to the Institute Staff. With Student Portal activation there is also corresponding Meshed Mobility mobile app that the Student will be able to download from AppStore and GooglePlay to access their information on the go. |
Agent Portal | Agent Portal is an important feature within Meshed Higher-Ed platform to increase Institute engagement with Agent. Agent Portal will allow Agency that recruit students an ability to submit online application forms increasing services to their Students. Also Offer letter once approved can be downloaded instantly. Comments updated against the application can be viewed by Agent. Agent can also see their Commission information and also be able to generate reports on their Student conversion and commission amount. Agent can also access the documents (or application form) if uploaded by Institute using Document Management module feature. Furthermore, Agent can send any enquiry back to the Institute within the portal which gets recorded to the communication log. Agent portal increases transparency between Institute and Agent and improves better relationship. |
Teacher Portal | Teacher Portal is an important feature within Meshed Higher-Ed platform to increase Institute engagement with Teacher and also delegate some of the tasks to the Teacher. Teacher are able to view their timetable information such as subjects, time, room. Teacher are also able to take daily attendance for their students online marking them present on the relevant sessions which then gets recorded to calculate the student current attendance and projected attendance. Teacher Portal also allows teacher to enter the assessments marks or outcome for their class. These two features reduces significant data entry from administrative staff and increase efficiency. Teacher can also access the documents (or application form) if uploaded by Institute using Document Management module feature. Further Teacher can send any enquiry back to the Institute within the portal which gets recorded to the communication log. Teacher can also record communication log for Student and also has option to send bulk email to Students in their class. Teacher can submit evaluation forms if setup using Survey Management Module. Teacher can submit their leave information as well on the days they are not available which is used during timetable creation process to check. Teacher portal increases transparency between Institute and Teacher and improves better relationship. |
Document Management Module | Document Management module is to allow Institute to Manage the document within Meshed Higher-Ed platform. The feature allows administrative user to create folders and upload files and assign permissions to the user role to access this feature. This enables easy information availability with the users from their portal. Example of this is making Student handbook and student forms available from Student Portal, latest application forms available to Agent via their portal. Also Institute policy and procedures can be uploaded to be visible in public portal view document section. Further Institute internal documents can also be uploaded within this section to manage it online keeping one central location for document download which will be backed up daily. |
Survey Management Module | Survey Management Module allows the users to set up evaluation forms or survey forms that can be sent to the users (Student, Teacher or Agent) to submit. There are two types of survey possible from the system – first option is to be able to send the link to the users to submit without login to Meshed Higher-Ed platform. Second option is to set up the evaluation to be submitted only once the user logs in the platform. The Survey can also be used for Teacher performance form or can be created for Agent. |
Multi Campus Module | The Multi Campus Feature allows a Provider to create one or many campuses within the Higher-Ed Student Management System. This is to ensure separation of application, enrolments, timetable, academic management etc. and information are distributed properly by the way of setting which Course and intake are provided for which campus. A single Campus can have one or many training locations/venues and addresses. On your Homepage, you can select the campus you will be working on by selecting the campus from the drop down menu found on the right top hand corner of the page (as shown below). This way, you can be assured that the information you are going to view is from the campus selected. |
