Permission

Overview

Management of permissions for Roles.  Permissions are a means of controlling and regulating access to specific system functions.

This determines what permissions a User will have based on their assigned Role(s).




Manage Permission

This will determine the permissions for all Users who are assigned the Role.

To manage permissions for a User Role

  • Select the User Role

  • Click Manage Permission
  • Manage or configure the required Permission Groups (see below)
  • Click Save




Permission Groups

User Role permissions are organised and managed in Groups.

Each of the Permission Groups are described below.





Dashboard

Auto Redirect To Form Submit

After applying the permission, the Dashboard page will not be displayed for the selected User Role, they will instead see the Form submission page when they select the Dashboard menu

Add New Client

Enable or disable display of the Add New button for the selected User Role


Modify Existing Client

Enable or disable display of a Client Edit and Delete buttons for the selected User Role









Client Users

This menu enables the functions associated with the management and tracking of Meshed Workflow Requests

Submission of an online form, which has been mapped with the Process using the Process Template, creates a Request which is used to manage and track progress


View Requests

Enable or disable viewing of all Requests for the User in the Request List for the selected User Role


Manage Request

Enable or disable display of a User Reminder, View Phase, Map User, Active/Inactive and Close buttons for the selected User Role

 


Show All Requests

Enable or disable viewing of all Requests, not only those for the User, for the selected User Role


Search Option

Enable or disable display of the Search controls for the selected User Role


Modify Submitted Form

Enable or disable display of the Request > Preview Form > Edit Submitted Form button for the selected User Role

Only Users can modify a submitted Request

Client Users can not modify a submitted Request


Delete Request

Enable or disable display of the Request > Delete button for the selected User Role


Add New Request

Enable or disable display of the Add New button for the selected User Role


Modify Existing Request

Enable or disable display of the Request Edit button for the selected User Role

The Edit button enables a user to modify the following for the Request:

  • Name
  • Start date
  • End Date
  • Notification options


View Request Overview

Enable or disable display of the Request > Request Overview button for the selected User Role


Manage Phase

For the Request Overview enable or disable display of the Phase Options menu for the selected User Role


Manage Task

For the Request Overview enable or disable display of the Task Options menu for the selected User Role


For the Request Overview enable or disable editing for the Task Status, Priority, and Due Date for the selected User Role


View Pictorial

Enable or disable display of the Request > Pictorial View button for the selected User Role


Manage Request

For the Pictorial View enable or disable display of the Phase, Task, Sorting, and Edit buttons for the selected User Role
