Student Course Status
Introduction
In the Meshed Platform there is a Status value assigned for each Course a Student is enrolled in. Changes to the Status are tracked by the System.
Student Course Status Tracking
When changes are made to the Student Course Status the User is required to enter additional information and confirm the change.
Category | Definition |

CoE Cancelled | When the Status is set to Cancelled or Withdrawn. |
CoE Re-issued | When the Student duration changes, resulting in the need to amend the CoE in PRISMS, due to one or more of the following:
|
Reported | When the Status is changed to Reported due to Academic Progress or Attendance Progress issues. |
Orientation | When the Status changes from Enrolled to Current Student. (This is automatically done as part of Manage Orientation.) |
Status Change | Default when the Status has been changed as part of the Student Course being updated. |
All changes that are made to the Student Course Status are logged and the history is maintained.
A report is available to view and export data related to Student Course Status changes.
These functions support ensuring that Providers can meet Education Services for Overseas Students Regulations 2019 (ESOS Regulations)
Student Course Status values
The following table contains information about the possible Student Course Status values that are used in the Meshed Platform.

Converted | Converted | Offer | A Lead has been converted to an Application. Related to the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Feature. | No |
New Course Request | New Course Request | Offer | An additional Student Course has been added in the Student Profile by Staff. Typically this is when an existing Student is enrolling in an additional or replacement Course. | No |
Offered | Offered | Offer | The Application has been accepted and the Offer Letter has been generated. | No |
Enrolled | Enrolled | Paid | The Student is formally enrolled in the Course prior to the commencement of study. | No |
Current Student | Current Student | Current | The Student has formally started study for the Course. Set as part of Manage Orientation from the Student Started Course button. | No |
Deferred | Deferred | Hold | The Student has deferred the Course for a specific Semester or Period. Typically dependant on the Provider policy. | No |
Finished | Finished | Hold | The Student has finalised their study period. However the Student may not necessarily have been successful and may require a new CoE. | No |
Placed | Placed | Hold | The Student has been provisionally placed in a Course. Often used when the Student is enrolled in Generic Course and later would be enrolled in a specific Course. For example ELICOS Courses | No |
Reported | Reported | Hold | The Student has been Reported due to Non Satisfactory performance (Attendance or Course Progress). Typically dependant on the Provider policy. | No |
Cancelled | Cancelled | Exit | The Student has Cancelled their enrolment in a Course prior to commencing their Study. | No |
Did Not Commence | Did Not Commence | Exit | The Student did not commence Study, or failed to attend Orientation. | No |
