Overview

This is an optional solution that can be used to import the results from an Excel file into the Meshed Platform. This functionality empowers users to efficiently import Assessment Results or Subject Outcomes in bulk, utilising dedicated Excel templates. This feature is accessible from both the Staff and Teacher Portals.

Process

• Download the Excel template from the Meshed Platform (blank template with column headers OR template with data based on selected semester, term, subject, and class).
• Update the results and comments in the Excel template.
• Upload the filled Excel template in the Meshed Platform.
• The system will import the assessment results in the Trask Results Entry page (for assessment result import), OR subject final outcome in the Student Subject Enrolment Page (for subject result import).
• Rectify any issue (if any) based on the error message.

Import Assessment Result

• The Excel template from the Meshed Platform must be downloaded to import the assessment results. If any other Excel files with different column headers are used, the import will not work.
• Assessment names must exactly match the setup in the Meshed Platform. If not, it will cause errors, and the results may not be recorded correctly.
• Course Attempt column in the Excel templates needs to match the Course Attempt value in the Meshed Platform. If this does not match, the unmatched record will cause an error, while the remaining matched records will be imported.
• Once the assessment results are imported and uploaded, it will be recorded on the Task Results Entry page, and the user must then lock, approve, and transfer the final outcome of the subject manually.

Import Subject Outcome

• The Excel template from the Meshed Platform must be downloaded to import the subject final outcome. If any other Excel files with different column headers are used, the import will not work.
• Subject names must exactly match the setup in the Meshed Platform. If not, it will cause errors, and the results may not be imported correctly.
• Course Attempt column in the templates needs to match the Course Attempt value in the Meshed Platform. If this does not match, the unmatched record will cause an error, while the remaining matched records will be imported.
• The subject final outcome will be updated in the Student Subject Enrolment Page directly. There is no window for moderation, therefore, the final outcome must be finalised before uploading the template and importing it into the Meshed Platform. (Note: any further changes to the final outcome needs to be managed from the Student Subject Enrolment Page.)
• If the system displays an error message(s), the user must make necessary rectifications in the Meshed Platform or in the template file as per the error received.

Out-of-Scope Requirements

Any additional requirements that are not in the standard scope of this feature can be discussed and customised if deemed feasible. This will incur additional charges.
