Improvement Register
This allows you to manage and track feedback, comments, or suggestions your college has received from different stakeholders, e.g Students or Staff.
To manage this function, follow the instructions below:
- Click Admin > Improvement Register.
- To record a new Case, click Add New.
- Fill in the Add New Case form. See the Field Descriptions table below for more information.
- Click Record to save the Case.
Field Descriptions
Field | Description |

Date | Displays the Current Date |
Lodged Date | Records the actual date that the case was lodged with the College. This may be prior to the date the Case was actually recorded in RTOManager. |
User Type | Options for the type of Case originator. Options are:
Only one option can be selected. |
Staff Detail | If Staff is selected in the User Type field, the following is displayed for the Staff Role and Requested By fields. Image Modified |
Student Detail | If Student is selected in the User Type field, the following is displayed for the Requested By field. Image Modified Enter the Student ID and Click Get Name. Image Modified |
Lodged By | Displays the current logged in User |
Category | The Category for the Case being recorded. Click New Category to type in a new |

Case Detail |
- From the drop-down menu, select your User Type e.g. Staff or student.
- Enter Staff/ student details.
- Select Category from the drop down menu e.g. Facilities, Trainer Issues etc. If you can't find the category you are looking for, click New Category. This will allow you to type in new category.
- Enter Case detail/ information.
- From the drop down menu, select to whom this case will be escalated to. If none, choose 'not escalated"
- Enter Action taken information. (This field needs to be filled up).
- Enter Action taken to prevent re-occurrence information.
- Select applicable status of the case form the drop down menu e.g. Case open / Case closed.

Escalated To | Option to select the Staff who this Case is escalated to. The Send Mail button will be displayed. Image Added Option to select Not Escalated if required. The Send Mail button will not be displayed. Image Added The Send Mail button will send a notification email to the selected Staff member. This is a mandatory field. |
Action Taken | Description or details of actions already taken for the Case being recorded. This is a mandatory field. |
Action Taken To Prevent Recurrence | Description or details of actions taken to prevent recurrence for the Case being recorded. |
Status | Options for status of Case being recorded. Options are:
Only one option can be selected. This is a mandatory field. |
File Attachment 1 to 6 | Upload files that are related to information being recorded in the Case |
- Case register can also be updated by clicking edit icon which will record each entry. To delete a case, click delete icon .
