Step-by-Step Guides
Creating a Form
- Click Online Forms in the Meshed Workflow main menu which is located on the left hand side of the page that is displayed after the User has successfully logged in.
- Click Add New
- Enter the Form Title and Description
- Click Save
- Click the Edit Action Icon
- Click Add a Field to show the Form Elements list
- Select the Table and drag and drop on the Form
- Enter the Properties for the Table:
- Number of Columns = 1
- Number of Rows = 4
- Click Add
- Additional Form Elements are selected to drag and drop on the Form in the Table as shown in the following examples.
- Use the Configure Icons to edit properties for the Form Elements.
- Save the Form
- Click the Preview Action Icon
- A preview of the Form is shown in a separate Browser tab
Creating a Process
A Workflow Process represents a particular business process.
- Click Process in the Meshed Workflow main menu which is located on the left hand side of the page that is displayed after the User has successfully logged in.
- The existing Processes are listed as rows in a grid.
- Click Add New
- Enter the Name for the Process
- Enter the Version for the Process
- Enter the Description of the Process
- Click Save
The Process has now been created in the Meshed Workflow system.
Each Workflow Process can have one or more Request Templates and each Request Template can have one or more Phases which are further divided into Tasks.
This enables a Provider or College to set up their business process using Phases and Tasks and later map with Forms.

Workflow Example - Orientation Process
The following Steps show how to use Meshed Workflow using an example. We have taken an Orientation Process as an example.
Step 1 - Build Your Form (Online Form)
Use the available form builder to build your Form using drag and drop menus.
Step 2 - Design your Workflow Process
Templates setup
Phase Setup
Task Setup
Step 3 – Map Form to Workflow Process
Step 4 – User Submits Form
Student Login to Workflow Portal (SSO from Meshed Platform)
This automatically creates as request based on template and records under Request section
Step 5 –Workflow Process Initiates Request
To view the Form submitted which generates a request, go to Request menu on the left.
Step 6 - Manage and Track Workflow Process
In this example there is only one task, but you can have series of Tasks assigned to different users to manage through if needed.
Or alternatively view Task and then Complete task.
