Overview


This page allows you to view a summary of the Student information and to edit the Student profile and other academic information.

Student Information displayed includes:

Student Profile

  • Course(s)
  • Exit Course (if any)
  • Deferral information (If any)
  • Latest communication log/ Diary
  • Current course weekly timetable
  • Course academic history
  • Payment information
  • Attendance Overview
  • Academic summary 
  • Emergency contact details


To manage/ view/ edit student information, follow the instructions below:

        

Student profile

This allows you to view Student profile information. To edit or change any information, click the Profile tab as shown below.


Course

This field lets you all the courses the student has been enrolled. You can also edit and delete course/s, Enrol new subjects or as per Course stage and set up study plan. Course information can also be found on the Course icon on top of the student profile page.


 

Student Deferral

This menu allows you to defer (postpone) student's enrolled courses to another semester or study period. To perform this function, follow the instructions below:

  • From your RTO Manager, click Student > Student Management Homepage


  • On the Search field, type in Student's name/ last name and click Search.
  • List of students' names will appear. Select the student you are after and click this action icon to go to selected student's profile.
  • Click Defer icon on the student profile summary as shown below:


  • Fill up the relevant information as shown below:


    • Select Student course from drop down menu
    • Select Leave Type
    • Select Reason for deferral
    • Enter Request date and New Start Date.
    • Tick the relevant Approval status
    • Type in any Comments on the free type field provided.
    • Click Defer Course.


Note:Reason can be setup using Admin > RTOManager Setup > Setup Section >Defer/Holiday/Suspension > Reason

Latest Communication Log/Diary


This section allows you to view the student Latest communication Log/Diary. Information can be changes and updates made in the student's account.


Current Course Weekly Timetable

This section allows you to view of student's current Course weekly timetable.



No current class timetable

The Current Course Weekly Timetable may show No current class timetable for the following reasons:

  • There is a current Student Deferral in place
  • Student is not enrolled in a current Class
  • Course Status is not Current Student
  • Course Start Date is not within the Current Week



Current Course Academic Summary

This section allows you to have a quick view of the student's current course academic summary.


Current Course Attendance Overview

This section allows you to have a quick overview of student current course Attendance.



Note: Generally International Students are required to maintain 80% attendance rate to maintain their student visa status where College is following Attendance Progress Policy. Colleges are expected to report students who are falling behind the minimum expectation. To find out more about how to manage attendance, click here.


Student Payment Details

This section allows you to have a quick overview of Student payment details. These includes tuition fee and other miscellaneous payments.



Note: If student payment details summary is not showing up on the student payment details section, user can click the money bag located on the course action section. Information will show up on the designated payment section for that particular course.



Emergency Contact Details

This section shows Emergency contact details of Students' closest kin (in case of any emergency).



Note: Emergency contact details can be updated and used using profile section.

Academic Summary

This section allows you to have a quick overview of student's Academic summary.



Note: Academic Summary gives a high level understanding of the student progress within the course. For example how many Units are enrolled and how many completed, course attendance and projected attendance and fees due (tuition and miscellaneous fees)
