20	Competency achieved	Client has been assessed and satisfies all the requirements for the unit of competency or module
30	Competency not yet achieved / failed (NYC)	Client has been assessed as not satisfying the requirements for the unit of competency or module
40	Withdrawn	Used to indicate one of the following: Student withdrew prior to commencement (Actual Hours field must be '0' or blank) Student withdrew after commencement (actual hours completed must be entered into the Actual Hours field)
51	Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)	Client has been successfully assessed against the required learning or competency outcomes for previously unrecognised skills and knowledge achieved outside the formal education and training
52	Recognition of Prior Learning not granted	Assessed for RPL, the student didn't pass RPL assessment and elected not to undertake training
53	Recognition of Current Competency (RCC)	Client has previously successfully completed the requirements for a unit of competency or module and is now required to be reassessed to ensure that the competence is being maintained.
53	Recognition of Current Competency not granted	Assessed for RCC, but the student didn't pass RCC validation process and elected not to undertake training.
60	Credit Transfer (CT)	Client has previously completed a unit/s of competency and has been granted application for mutual recognition
65	Superseded qualification	Use this for incomplete units where a client has been transitioned to a newer version of the qualification
70	Continuing enrolment	Used to indicate that a student is expected to complete the unit in a subsequent calendar year. The student may or may not have commenced the unit. This code must not be used to report unit enrolments that are undergoing RPL assessment process.
90	no longer valid	The Outcome Identifier National code “90” is no longer a valid code, and will result in an error in the AVETMISS Validation Software (AVS). This means you cannot pass validation using the outcome identifier “90” and will need to replace all records that contain this data with the “70 - continuing enrolment” outcome code. Previously: This code must not be used to report unit enrolments that are undergoing RPL assessment process.Used to indicate that a student is expected to complete the unit in the current calendar year. The student may or may not have commenced the unit. It is a temporary code for use during the teaching year. It is not valid and must not appear in the final submission for the collection year.
81	Non-assessed enrolment - Satisfactorily completed	Client has satisfactorily completed a non-assessable unit enrolment
82	Non-assessed enrolment - Withdrawn or not satisfactorily completed	Code 82 may only be used for withdrawals from units of competency / modules which are NOT being claimed for funding by the Department.

NCVER Validation errors

NAT 10 Errors	How to Fix it
The Training Organisation ID does not match the login TOID and TOID must be 10 digits numeric	If your TOID (Training organisation Identifier) is less than 10 characters then values of '0' will need to be inserted before your TOID to create a 10 character Identifier
AVETMISS Provider Type Mismatch	Edit Organisation page and amend value in 'Training Organisation Type (AVETMISS 6_' field

NAT 20 Errors	How to Fix it
Training Organisation Delivery Name has a Postcode that is not consistent with the Suburb	Go to Australia Post website to confirm that the location suburb and postcode match. Amend the postcode by changing the postcode information on student's current address information located on the student's profile page.

NAT 30 Errors	How to Fix it
Records are missing from the file	Check Course Code/ or there are no Course Enrolments with Commencing Course Identifier of 3 or 4 linked to Course (All states except VIC and ACT)
Funded / Supervised Hours - do not match registration system	Edit the course and amend the Nominal Hours field
ASCO Code not supplied:	Edit the course and enter the ASCO code
ANZSCO Code not supplied:	Edit the course and enter the ANZSCO code
Field of education missing	Edit course and enter Field of Education
Course / Qualification name does not match DELTA / STAR database	Edit course and enter correct Course Description
Qualification Code must also exist in the NAT 120 or the NAT 130

NAT 60 Errors	How to Fix It
Unit of Competency/Subject Id (xxx) must exist on the TGA master list of Units of Competency	Double check that the unit code is correct and that value against field 'Unit of Competency' is correct.
Module/Unit of Competency identifier: Duplicate records exist within this file	This error occurs when a unit code/description appears more than once in the NAT 60 file
Only one record is permitted for Subject Identifier
"NAT00060.txt" NAT files have invalid structure (eg. Line "37" in file "NAT00060.txt" length "73" but "124" expected)
Funded/Supervised Hours - do not match DET's registration system
Module/Unit of Competency Flag: Each record must have a value for this field.
Module/UOC Field of Education Id must not be blank
Module/Unit of Competency identifier with Module/Unit of Competency Flag 'C' is not valid
VET flag (N) must be Y when Module/Unit of Competency Flag is C
Invalid Subject Field of Education Identifier

NAT 80 Errors	How to Fix it
At School Flag must not be blank
Disability Flag must not be blank	Set disability flag to 'Y' or 'N' depending on their disability status
Client Id (XXX) must also exist in the Prior Educational Achievement file when the Prior Educational Achievement Flag (Y) is Y
Field not supplied (eg. Client gender, Highest School Level completed etc)
There are no Disability records for this Client Id: 'XXX' although the Disability Flag is 'Y'
Address Location - Suburb, Locality or Town (XXX) does not match the Postcode (YYY)	Check correct spelling of student address suburb or that the postcode matches the suburb.

NAT 85 Errors	How to Fix It
Suburb and Post code errors	Suburb spelling, postcode, or suburb and postcode combination are incorrect = Edit Client addresses and enter correct suburb and postcode combination

NAT 90 Errors	How to Fix it
Disability flag is 'Y' and disability type not supplied

NAT 100 Errors	How to Fix it
Prior Education flag is 'Y' and prior education level/s not supplied

NAT 120 Errors	How to Fix it
Course/Site ID: Must be numeric, a whole number, right justified and zero-filled.
Activity End Date is after the Collection Year End Date therefore Outcome Identifier - National must be 70.
Invalid Commencing Prgoram Id/Commencing CourseEnrolment Id (X) is invalid
Enrolment Activity End Date (DD/MM/YYYY) is after the collection period end date therefore the Outcome Id - National 'X' must be 'Y'.
The Training Organisation Delivery Location Identifier on the Enrolment (NAT00120) file must also exist in the Training Organisation Delivery Location file (NAT00020)
The same Funding Source ID - State Training Authority must be reported for every module or unit or competency that is part of a students enrolment in a course.
The same Funding Source ID - State Training Authority must be reported for every module or unit or competency that is part of a students enrolment in a course.
Funding Source - National is 30 therefore Postcode on the Client file must be OSPC
State Funding Source does not match National Funding Source
Invalid State Funding Source Code
