Training Session 7 - Meshed Higher-Ed (Standard)

Communication Tools, Compliance Reporting and Student Portal

Introduction

As part of a training session, post-training resources for self-assessment, reinforcement of understanding, and measurement of progress are provided to participants.

For each training session, the topics are matched with relevant roles within the Education Provider. Optionally, this information can assist with identifying and optimizing the participants for each training session.

The identified roles for this training session are:

Post-training activities

To reinforce your learning and ensure you have a solid understanding of the system, we have designed three sequential post-training activities for you to ideally complete before the next training session.

Please follow the instructions below:

1. Tasks

Objective: Apply the knowledge and skills you gained during this training session to complete real-world tasks. These tasks are designed to help you reinforce new skills, integrate the knowledge into your work, and to contribute to the successful setup, management, and use of a new Meshed system.

Instructions:

  • Download (or print) the resource document for the tasks related to this training session using the provided link (below).

  • Review the information provided for each task carefully. Links to the relevant Online User Guide section are included with each of the tasks to provide additional information.

  • Complete each task using your Meshed system.

  • Note that you may find that some of these tasks have already been completed in your system (by other participants or by Meshed) in which case you should review what has been done.

Objective: Assess your understanding of the Meshed Platform features, functionalities, and best practices covered in this training session.

Instructions:

  • Attempt each question, and refer to the provided answers to check whether your responses were correct or not.

Objective: Verify that you have covered all the essential topics related to this training session. The checklist identifies training objectives, key concepts, tasks, knowledge, and skills etc. that were covered during the training session.

Training Session 7 Resources List

The USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a reference number assigned to each student in Australia that allows for tracking of students' progress and achievement in courses across multiple education providers and systems. The USI Registry System can be integrated (real-time) with the Meshed Platform to streamline the USI processes. Further detailed information on this is in our User Guide:

Smartphone apps, or simply "apps", are software applications designed to be run on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The Meshed Mobility App gives Students easy access to their information; Course details, Timetables, Results, Payment history, plus it makes general notices, messages, and warnings available directly on their smartphone.
