Users
Users List
The Users are listed as rows in a grid.
The grid displays the following data columns:
- First Name
- Last Name
- User Name
- Active
- Created Date
- Contact Number
- Role
The right most column contains the Action Icons that are used to perform various functions for each User.
Grid Navigation
Multiple pages will be displayed for a grid listing more than 10 items.
The Page Navigation Bar helps Users navigate between pages of items in a grid and also go to a specific page.
Page Navigation always display the page number of the page a User is currently viewing and also includes back and next buttons, and for large numbers of pages includes first or last buttons.
Search
Sort
Allows Users to click on the heading name, for columns displaying the Sort icon, to re-organise the grid in the order of the data in that column.
Clicking a heading name will alternatively order the grid data in ascending order and then in descending order.
Ascending means smallest to largest, or alphabetical.
Descending means largest to smallest, or reverse alphabetical.
Add New
Only System Administrator can create the Users.
FIELD DESCRIPTIONS
Field | Description |
---|---|
First Name | The first name of the User. This is a mandatory field. |
Last Name | The last name of the User. This is a mandatory field. |
Username | This is a mandatory field. |
Password | User password. Leave the field empty to use a System generated password for the new User. |
Active | The User is active:
Only Users that are Active can be mapped as Template Users. |
Preferred Name | The preferred name of the User. |
Primary Email | User primary email address. Email address must be unique. Email address must be valid. This is a mandatory field. |
Secondary Email | User official email or college email. |
Contact Number | User telephone number. |
Role | The User Role This information is associated with Roles managed in the Configuration menu. This is a mandatory field. |
Upload Image | Upload or Clear the User image (Picture or Photo) of the Client User. |
When a User is created in Meshed Workflow they are notified by email. The notification email uses an Email Template managed in the Configuration menu.
User Name
Meshed Workflow creates the User Name in the following way:
- If Meshed Workflow IS integrated with other Meshed Platforms the User Name is synchronised from the Meshed Platform.
- If Meshed Workflow IS NOT integrated with other Meshed Platforms the User Name is the Email Address.
Edit
All fields other than Username can be modified.
Leave the password field empty to retain the existing password for the User.
Delete
A confirmation message will be shown that requires action.
Users that are currently mapped as Template Users cannot be Deleted. To Delete a mapped User, the User should first be Deactivated with new assignee User(s) selected.
Reset Password
Reset to a System generated password for the User.

When a User Password is Reset in Meshed Workflow the User is notified by email. The notification email uses an Email Template managed in the Configuration menu.
Deactivate
Set the User as Inactive in the System.
A confirmation message will be shown that requires action.
