FEE-HELP Loan Fee Exemption Extension

Introduction

FEE-HELP loan fee exemption – retrospective effective date. The FEE-HELP loan fee exemption extension from 1 January to 31 December 2022 has been legislated.  

This extension will require the loan fee to be recorded as "0" for FEE-HELP students. TCSI validations were updated on 16 December to block the submission of unit enrolments that do not align with the loan fee exemption extension. TCSI will fix the data reported between 01/01/2022 and 16/12/2022 at their end and hence, the loan fee needs to be updated in the Meshed Platform only.


Bulk Update Loan Fee

This menu allows for multiple Student Loan Fees to be updated.

  • Navigate to Compliance > Bulk Update > Bulk Update Loan Fee
  • Enter or select the relevant Search Criteria to return Student Subject Enrolments
  • Click Search
  • Select Students
  • Click Update All



Requirements for Students to be included in the search results:

  • Student origin is domestic
  • Student has a valid USI or CHESSN recorded
  • Student status code is within 230 to 233
  • The course must be marked as TCSI reportable and FEE-HELP approved
  • TCSI student and course information must be recorded for the student
  • Census dates for the subject enrolment must be within 01/01/2022 to 16/12/2022
