Online Test Module Setup and Management
From this menu you can create questions and answers for the test. This simply means that you can create a test by creating questions and answers there. When the student logs in from their portal, they can select the test and answer the questions of the test online. To understand this, follow the instructions below:
19.1 Manage Test
19.1.1Hover your mouse on Admin menu and click Test Setup as shown in figure 4.10.1a below. You will go to the page as in figure 4.10.1b.

Note: Please note that in figure 19.1b there is no test available yet as seen above in figure 19.1b.
19.1.2To add the test, click icon as indicated by the blue arrow shown above in figure 19.1b. Manage Test window appears as shown in figure 19.1c.

19.1.3Select/Enter following information in figure 19.1c:
- Test Name: is the name of the test for e.g. Online Test1, Online Test2 etc.
- Test Description: Description of the test for e.g. Module 1
- Total number of questions: Total questions available
- Number of questions to answer: Minimum question to answer by the student
- Correct answer to Pass the test: minimum number of correct answers to pass the test
- Number of attempts: number of times student is eligible to take the test
- Active after no of days of start date: The period the student is supposed to take the test after his start date
- Active Duration: the time period (days) for which the test is active.
19.1.4Once you enter all the information in figure19.1c, figure should appear as shown in figure 19.1d.

19.1.5Finally click icon in figure 19.1d. Test Name Online Test1 is created as shown in figure 19.1e.

19.1.6 Your new test will be added under the 'Test' list and a successfully created message will also appear as shown above in figure 19.1e.
You can edit/delete any 'Test' that you have created by simply clicking on these icons as marked by red box shown above in figure19.1e
This icon which is also marked by red box shown above in figure 19.1e allows you to copy this test to another course without having to re-enter in the information again, once clicked you will see a pop up window like the one below seen in figure 19.1f. Simply select course from the drop down menu then click on .

19.2 Create Questions/Answers
You can now create questions and answers for the test that you have created in section 4.10.1 Manage Test.
To do this, follow the instructions below:
19.2.1Hover your mouse on Admin menu and click Test Setup as shown in figure below.
You will go to the page as in figure 19.2b.

19.2.2 Select the 'Test Type' depending on which Test you have set whether 'Enrolment' or 'Assessment'
19.2.3Select the course from drop down menu for which you want to create Questions/answers (figure19.2b)
19.2.4Select the test from the drop down menu for e.g. Online Test1 for which you want to create Questions/Answers (Figure 19.2b). (To update the test with ease simply click .
19.2.5After entering all the information in figure 19.2b, figure should now appear as shown in figure 19.2c.

Please Note: You can also import questions from an Excel file into the system, simply click on 'Choose File' select the file from your computer and click on 'Upload'
19.2.6Now click icon in figure 19.2c. Recently created Question will appear as shown in figure 19.2d.

19.2.7Now to create Answers for the Question just created in step 19.2d, click icon as indicated by the blue arrow shown above in figure 19.2d. You will go to Manage Answers for Question window as shown in figure 19.2e.

19.2.8Click icon in figure 19.2e. You will go the Manage Answers for Question page as shown in figure 19.2f.

19.2.9Type in the Answer Text in figure 19.2f and also select the radio button to mark if this is the correct answer. Figure 19.2f should now appear as shown in figure 19.2g.
Note: Is Correct radio button in figure 19.2f determine whether the answer is correct or not for the selected question among multiple answers.

19.2.10 Finally click . Recently added Answer will appear as shown in figure 19.2h.

Note: similarly you can create as many answers as you like for the selected questions as shown in figure 19.2i. Now when the student log in from his/her portal then they will now see questions and answers to complete their test.
To edit/delete the 'Answers' simply click on these icons as shown above in figure 19.2i.
