Introduction
This optional feature allows you to use your Meshed Platform as a diary to keep you on top of all the tasks and meetings you have for the day.
To Do List
To manage this feature, follow the instructions below:
- On your Meshed platform, go to your Home page
- Click Feature Shortcuts button
- Click the quick icon for To Do List as shown below.
- To Do List allows you to view your calendar on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly view by clicking their corresponding icons located on the top left hand side. The example shown below is the Day (daily view).
Add Task
- Your task for the day, click on the relevant time e.g. 1:00pm
- A pop up screen will appear to allow you to record information about the task and/or meeting.
- Select Task Type e.g. meeting/ appointment, Task.
- Enter Task Name, description, Start/ Finish date & Time on the fields provided.
- You have an option to assign this meeting to yourself or fellow staff by clicking the drop-down menu.
- You may also choose to whom this meeting is related to from the drop-down menu e.g. Student, Trainer, Employer etc.
- Click Add to save. Meeting information will be saved on your To Do List (as shown below).
- A red flag will also show up if the task is overdue
- When task or meeting is done and completed, click on the meeting/task hyperlink and tick the box that says Completed.
- Click Save to record information.
- Once meeting is completed, it will be marked with green flag as shown below.
Assign Task to Staff
To Do List feature also allows you to assign a task to a staff or colleague.
- Task will appear on your To Do List
- Notice that this task has been assigned to another Staff. Also, we have tick the box that says an email will be sent to the assigned to the staff. The other staff's account can see that the entry has been replicated and a notification has been sent to their email address.
- Once the task in completed, you can tick the box for Completed and for Sending email notifying the creator of the task that it has been finalised as shown below:
- Click Save to record information.
