Main Feature

Enhancement Details

Homepage

The default homepage for all staff, agents, and student logins has been updated to enhance user experience and accessibility. The new homepage layout now includes Feature Shortcuts for quick access to key functions, News and Reminders to display relevant updates, and Dashboard (Staff only) for users with access to the Insight Dashboard feature (permission-controlled).

This update was implemented to integrate the dashboard directly into the staff homepage, allowing staff members to view and interact with dashboard charts immediately upon login, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple features.

Dashboard

A new functionality has been introduced within the Dashboard feature. A Personalise Dashboard Home button has been added to the Dashboard page, enabling users to customise the charts they wish to display on their homepage for future logins. Each user can select and configure the charts according to their preferences.

If no selections are made in the setup dialog, the following default charts will appear in the Dashboard section of the homepage:

·        Course Withdrawal

·        Enrolments & Offers

·        Invoice Amount by Student’s Nationality

Visa Check

Meshed Group has introduced a new feature, Visa Check Integration, powered by vSure, to streamline the visa validation process for education providers. This feature simplifies compliance by enabling institutions to quickly and efficiently verify the visa status of applicants and students, ensuring they are eligible to enrol in courses.

Key highlights of this integration include:

  • Permission-based, tiered access: Visa verification is controlled by user permissions and follows a tier-based structure.

  • Streamlined process: Admissions staff can easily check visa status individually or in bulk, enhancing workflow efficiency.

  • Compliance assurance: This tool helps education providers maintain compliance with visa requirements, ensuring only eligible visa holders are admitted.

This integration represents a seamless collaboration between the Meshed platform and vSure, offering a fast and efficient visa verification solution for admissions teams.

NOSCs

In response to the proposed legislative changes by the Department of Education regarding the introduction of an international student course commencements cap, Meshed Group has introduced the following features:

·        Provider Limit Setup: Education providers can configure enrolment and NOSCs (New overseas student commencements) limits for each academic year, starting from 2025 onwards.

  • NOSCs Report: This report classifies a student’s Higher Education or VET course enrolment as NOSCs or non-NOSCs based on the Department of Education's guidelines. The logic is derived from the official rules available at PRISMS.

  • Dashboard Visualisation: A real-time dashboard provides a visual representation of a provider's enrolment cap versus actual NOSCs for any given year.

This feature helps education providers ensure compliance with the Department of Education’s upcoming regulations while managing enrolment caps efficiently.

Compliance > Manage TCSI Services

The meshed platform's TCSI integration feature has been enhanced with the introduction of a new page dedicated to the setup of reportable course statuses. The feature is developed to address the scenarios where the students do not commence the course with the provider or have visa refusals. In cases like these or similar scenarios, the data for these students does not need to be reported to TCSI.

Highlights of the feature

  • This feature is available for HEP (API), VSL (API) Reporting and PIR (API and Data Reports) Reporting Types.

  • This additional configuration option enables users to exclude specific course statuses that are not required for TCSI reporting.

  • The course statuses appearing in the dropdown come from the License Details page in the system.

  • By default, all courses are ticked for TCSI reporting or are TCSI reportable. Once the user unticks and saves the setup, the unticked statuses will be excluded from reporting.

  • Based on the excluded course statuses, the Student, Course Admission and Unit Enrolment packets will be hidden from the reporting grid.

  • For TCSI API users (HEP, VSL and PIR)- The new page can be found under TCSI Reporting Page >> Additional Setup (TCSI Reportable Course Statuses).

  • For TCSI PIR Reports users- The new page can be accessed using either of the following locations:

    • Click on TCSI tab on the homepage >> Additional Setup

    • Click on Reports >> TCSI PIR Reports >> Additional Setup (The page will open in a new tab).
