Admission Staff | Update to staffs that are allowed to be “Admission staff”
If “Offer Status Tracking” feature is available in a platform, then only the staffs with the permission "Allow staff to be Admission Staff" is allowed to be assigned as the Admission Staff. If staffs who do not have this permission given had previously been assigned as an Admission Staff, then they can still be assigned as Admission Staff. However, if changed to someone else, users will no longer be able to see the staff name under the “Admission staff” dropdown under offer list, offer course or student course. When “Offer Status Tracking” feature is not available, all staff with the roles SAdmin, Admin and Marketing can be assigned as “Admission staff” for applications, offers and students. Here, permission "Allow staff to be Admission Staff" will not be available. |
Academic progress: Import subject outcome | “Import subject outcome” feature update
Users can download empty data template to enter student subject result details manually and import the result in bulk, or download data specific template for a semester or subject or class batch to upload student subject results in bulk. Additionally for VET courses, data template can also be generated for students who are not enrolled to any batch. For other course types, data template can only be generated for students enrolled to batches (students without batch can be imported but will require manual entry into empty data template). Data validations have been improved to ensure that only valid student, semester, subject and marks or grades are entered. |

Compliance | CHESSN Allocation for TCSI Student Data TCSI allocates CHESSN for a student if there was no previous CHESSN for the student after baseline student data is reported to TCSI. This CHESSN information is directly populated in the student table in the TCSI records. Now, the CHESSN can be imported from TCSI and directly updated in the student TCSI information page in the Meshed system, once the CHESSN is available. As soon as a student record is reported to TCSI, a new icon will appear next to each record which is to import CHESSN from TCSI. Using the icon, CHESSN information can be pulled for the reported student individually or in Bulk. To import CHESSN information in bulk, the “Bulk Import CHESSN” button is available at the bottom of the student data grid. The CHESSN retrieved from TCSI will update the student record in Meshed without requiring a manual update. |
Compliance | TCSI Changes for 2024 As per the TCSI Change Control Document for 2024, the related fields have been updated in the Meshed system. The changes made include the following fields and elements: |
Compliance | Warn if Student ID more than 10 characters - TCSI and NCVER The system has been enhanced to display a warning if the student ID format setup in the platform is more than 10 characters. The reason for this is that both NCVER (AVETMISS Data Reporting) and TCSI (PIR, HEP, and VSL Data Reporting) do not take more than 10 characters as student ID. An information message will be displayed on the Student ID Format page which will be then followed by a warning message if the Student ID Format created is longer than 10 digits. |
Compliance | GOS Report- Update the mapping for Address Fields As per the guidelines from TCSI and GOS Survey Collection, the address fields for students must contain the details from their residential or permanent address and not current or temporary address. Considering this, the mapping for the address fields appearing in the GOS report is updated to populate the details from the student's permanent/overseas address recorded under the student profile page. This applies to citizen resident codes “2”, “4” and “5” as these students can have a permanent address which is different from their current Australian address. |
