Release 27/10/2024
Main Feature | Enhancement Details |
Meshed Visa Check | For the Standard, Premium, and Custom Tiers of the Meshed visa check feature, staff will no longer be restricted from conducting visa checks after reaching their monthly limit. Please note that any successful additional visa checks exceeding the monthly limit will incur additional charges. To review all successful visa checks conducted within a specified date range, please refer to the report titled “Visa: Successful Visa Checks between Two Dates – Finance” available under the Management category. The records available in this report can be used to count billable visa checks. |
Provider Limit: NOSCs | The new "NOSCs Student Course Status Mapping" page will allow providers to select the course statuses that they want to consider for NOSCs. For existing clients, the statuses under Offer and Paid categories, and the statuses Did Not Commence, Expired Offer, and Cancelled are unchecked from the mapping page. However, providers can update these mapping as per their requirement. We have also updated the description for report "Student List for New Overseas Student Commencements (NOSCs)" and information for the NOSC Insight and Dashboard to indicate that the report and diagrams are indicative of the data entry in Meshed platform only. However, for actual NOSCs data, providers should check this in PRISMS. |
Online application | Application Step-3 (TCSI Information) page is updated to make the text more informative for the end user. The description now is updated as shown below for the users filling an application to understand the purpose of the page. TCSI is a collaborative initiative between the Department of Education and Services Australia. It aims to gather data on students enrolled with approved Australian education providers. Please provide the student's basic information and course details below for reporting to the department. No changes are made to the functioning of the page or the application process. |
Timetable/ Enrolment | The system is enhanced with the introduction of Census Date validation to ensure that the census dates are recorded effectively and minimise errors related to census dates when reporting data. The validation is introduced in the system to promote the department guidelines and effective data recording. Under the Higher Education Support (Administration) Guidelines 2022, "a census date must not be a date that falls less than 20 percent of the time between the unit commencement and completion dates". The users will now see a bulb icon containing information on census date along with the census date validation in the following pages in the system. · Calendar Setup - The user will be restricted from recording a census date outside the semester duration. This only applies to Higher Ed course calendars. · Timetable Page - The user will be restricted from recording a census date outside the selected semester and term duration for the batch. · Student Results Page- The user will be restricted from recording a census date outside the batch boundary (if the student is enrolled in a batch) or outside the semester boundary (if the student is enrolled in a No Batch). · Bulk Enrolment Page- The user will be restricted from recording a census date outside the batch boundary (if the student is enrolled in a batch) or outside the semester boundary (if the student is enrolled in a No Batch). · Bulk Update Page- The user will be restricted from recording a census date outside the batch boundary (if the student is enrolled in a batch) or outside the semester boundary (if the student is enrolled in a No Batch). Note: No changes are made where the feature to ignore the Census Date Validation is enabled. If this feature is enabled for a platform, the census date logic will not be checked across the above-mentioned pages. This implies that the user will be able to record any date as a census date in the system without any restriction. |
