The Meshed Platform Teacher Portal has been enhanced to support adding attachments when recording Communication Log entries for Students.

Major Enhancements
Alumni Module
The Meshed Platform has been enhanced with a new module for Alumni management. The module allows an institution to manage, identify, and engage with their Alumni in a meaningful way.
The Alumni Management functions available are:
- Add existing Students to Alumni - Student information is used for the new Alumni
- Add New to Alumni - information is entered for the new Alumni
- Manage Alumni - modify or delete Alumni
- Alumni Communication Log - record entries to a communication log/diary for Alumni
- Email Alumni - send email to Alumni
- Communication - send bulk email to Alumni using a mailing list interface
- Report - create Alumni information reports or export in Excel format

Course Intake Duration
The Meshed Platform Course Intake has been enhanced to allow the defining of the intake duration number of days as either before or after the intake date.

CRICOS API support for the latest USI webservices version
The USI Registry System provides a web service to allow authorised education or training providers to initiate direct, system-to-system interactions with the USI Registry System. All providers who use the USI Registry System through their student management systems will need to move to the latest version.
The Meshed Platform CRICOS API has been updated to support the USI webservices version 4. USI webservices version 3 will be decommissioned on Tuesday 2 November 2021. Webservices version 4 went live on 30 September 2020.

Attendance - Cancel Class
The Meshed Platform Attendance recording function has been enhanced to allow a Class to be Cancelled with no impact on the enrolled Students attendance calculations.

Major Enhancements
BPAY Integration
The Meshed Platform can now be integrated with BPAY.
BPAY is an electronic bill payment system in Australia which enables payments to be made through a financial institution's online, mobile or telephone banking facility to organisations which are registered BPAY billers.
Integration with BPAY supports the following functions:
- Generate a Customer Reference Number (CRN) for an Applicant and/or a Student.
- Display the Biller Code and CRN on templates, for example Offer Letters and Invoices.
- Import a BPAY Remittance File (BRF) for payment settlement in the Meshed Platform.

The Meshed Platform Staff Mailing List function has been enhanced to show College Email address for Staff.
Victorian VET Student Statistical Collection Guidelines 2021
The Victorian VET Student Statistical Collection Guidelines 2021 have been published both on SVTS and on the Departments website (https://www.education.vic.gov.au/training/providers/rto/Pages/datacollection.aspx).
The Meshed Platform functionality has been reviewed and enhanced as required to support these changes to ensure successful submission of data in the 2021 collection year.

Student Certificate Register - Type
The Meshed Platform Student Certificate Register has been enhanced to show the Document Type for each Certificate in the register.

To support TCSI reporting we have updated the Meshed Higher-Ed Online User Guide to now include detailed field information for the data mapping for TCSI Data Packet Elements to the Meshed Platform.

Applicant TCSI Information
To support TCSI reporting the Meshed Platform has been enhanced to capture relevant applicant TCSI information during the Application process when required.
Where relevant to the Course application, Step 3 on the Application Form enables TCSI information to be entered by the Applicant.
Minor Enhancements
Custom Fields - Text Area Input
The Meshed Platform Custom Fields feature has been enhanced to allow Users to define a Text Area input Control Type.
This allows for input and display of larger amounts of text.

SMS Templates - Parameters
The Meshed Platform has been enhanced to provide functionality to include parameters in SMS Templates.
Parameters can be used in the body of the SMS Template e.g. Student first name, last name, date of birth (DOB), Student ID etc. These parameters will be replaced by the value automatically when sending the SMS to the recipients.
