7.0 Message
From this menu you can communicate effectively and efficiently with students of the college by group emails, administration and also create student's diary. To do these follow the instructions below:
7.1 Mailing List
Teachers can communicate with students (Class) through group emails in a single click. However, it is a must that the students have at least one email address. To communicate through mailing list, follow the instructions below:
7.1.1 Once you have logged in to RTOmanager, click on Message as shown in figure below. You will go to the student mailing list page as shown in figure 7.1a.

7.1.2 Select Mailing List Type, Courses Offer Intake and class from the drop down menu as shown in figure 7.1a and click . The list of all students as per the above criteria will be displayed as shown in student list section in figure 7.1a.
-> New feature (Include student(s) already finished the class in last) has been added which enables to pull the student list which is currently studying and who has finished class within specified week.
7.1.3 Type the subject of the email/message for e.g. Class Attendance as shown in figure 7.1a.
7.1.4Type the body of the message as shown in figure 7.1a.
7.1.5 Click Browse and attach any files that you want to send the student. No files selected in the above figure.
7.1.6Tick the check box if you also want this email to be recorded in the communication log.
7.1.7 Tick the check box in student list section in Figure 7.1a to select the student (Bob Morrison) in the list. (You have option to choose either Private Email or College Email as shown in figure 7.1a.
7.1.8 Finally, click in figure 7.1a. You will see message in green confirming your delivery of mail as shown in figure 7.1b.

7.2 Communication Log
From this menu teachers can record and view all the communications (diary) made about the students (for e.g. the student not attending the class, student not submitting any assignments on time etc). This communication log can be viewed by other staff in hierarchy. To add a communication log, follow the instructions below:
7.2.1 Once you have logged in to RTOmanagerlocal, click Message>Communication Log as shown in figure below. You will go to the Add & View Student Communication Logs/Diary page as shown in figure 7.2a.

7.2.2 Enter/select all the relevant information as shown in figure 7.2a.
In figure 7.2a, status refers to the status of the log whether it is informed, resolved, escalated etc. Type refers to the kind of log whether it is related with studies, attendance, fees etc.
7.2.3 Click in figure 7.2a. Your recently entered log will appear in the list and a confirmation message is displayed as shown in figure 7.2b.

7.3 Request to Admin
It is an online interface from which teachers can directly contact the administration staff by writing a message. The message normally has a subject and a body. To do this, follow the instructions below:
7.3.1 Once you have logged in to RTOmanagerlocal, click Message>Request to Admin as shown in figure below. You will go Send Email to College page as shown in figure 7.3a.

- Type the topic of the mail for e.g. LCD Projector as shown in figure 7.3a.
- Type the body/content of the message as shown in figure 7.3a. If you want to send a copy of the message to yourself tick in the figure above.
- Finally, click in figure 7.3a. You will receive a confirmation for the delivery of the message as shown in figure 7.3b.
