Introduction
Bulk Updates are a group of functions that allows users to manage updates of student record information for multiple students simultaneously. This feature can be useful for education providers that manage large numbers of students at once, and can save time and effort as well as providing greater efficiency and accuracy by reducing the likelihood of errors.
The Meshed Platform provides the following bulk update functions:
- Final Subject Outcomes
- Course Status
- Course Template
- Loan Fee
Bulk Update Final Outcome
This menu allows you to update the final outcome of the Subject or Unit results for the Student that have not been linked to the assessments.
- Click Compliance > Bulk Update > Update Final Outcome
- To view list of students enrolled in this class, use the selection criteria and select Course Type, Course and Semester & Term and click View.
- This will then show the list of Students, which you can select using the checkbox next to each Student
You will note here that on the list if there is "Has Assessment" ticked then you will not be able to update outcome for this subject as the outcome must be calculated using the assessment. However if no assessment then you can enter the outcome for the student in bulk.

Update Bulk Loan Fee
FEE-HELP loan fee exemption – retrospective effective date. The FEE-HELP loan fee exemption extension from 1 January to 31 December 2022 has been legislated.
This extension will require the loan fee to be recorded as "0" for FEE-HELP students. TCSI validations were updated on 16 December to block the submission of unit enrolments that do not align with the loan fee exemption extension. TCSI will fix the data reported between 01/01/2022 and 16/12/2022 at their end and hence, the loan fee needs to be updated in the Meshed Platform only.
