TCSI- Additional Setup for Reportable Course Statuses

The meshed platform's TCSI integration feature has been enhanced with the introduction of a new page dedicated to the setup of reportable course statuses. The feature is developed to address the scenarios where the students do not commence the course with the provider or have visa refusals. In cases like these or similar scenarios, the data for these students does not need to be reported to TCSI.

Highlights of the feature:

  • This feature is available for HEP (API), VSL (API) Reporting, and PIR (API and Data Reports) Reporting Types.

  • This additional configuration option enables users to exclude specific course statuses that are not required for TCSI reporting.

  • The course statuses appearing in the dropdown come from the License Details page in the system.

  • By default, all courses are ticked for TCSI reporting or are TCSI reportable. Once the user unticks and saves the setup, the unticked statuses will be excluded from reporting.

  • Based on the excluded course statuses, the Student, Course Admission and Unit Enrolment packets will be hidden from the reporting grid.

Note:

If the provider is reporting data through the API (PIR or HEP) and has submitted data (Student, Course Admission, and Unit Enrolment packets) for a course status that has been excluded, the previously reported data will still be visible in the reporting grid, even after the exclusion. As the previously reported data has a valid UID, the record can not be hidden from the grid. However, any new records for Student, Course Admission or Unit Enrolment Packets with that course status will not be visible for TCSI Reporting.

Location of the Page

For TCSI API users (HEP, VSL and PIR)- The new page can be found under TCSI Reporting Page >> Additional Setup (TCSI Reportable Course Statuses).

  • For TCSI PIR Reports users- The new page can be accessed using either of the following locations:

    • Click on TCSI tab on the homepage >> Additional Setup

Click on Reports >> TCSI PIR Reports >> Additional Setup (The page will open in a new tab).

Set TCSI Reportable Course Statuses

To set the reportable course statuses, follow the steps below:

Click on the Reportable Status dropdown.

Untick the course statuses that are not required for TCSI reporting.

Click on Save Reportable Statuses.

Once the status selection is saved, the system shows a success message and the date, time, and username based on the last setup.

Based on the setup done by the user, the data will appear in the TCSI reporting grid for Student, Course Admission, and Unit Enrolment Packets.

Note- If no setup is done by the user, students, course admissions and unit enrolment records for all course statuses will appear in the TCSI reporting grid.
