Alumni Module

The Meshed Platform has been enhanced with a new module for Alumni management. The module allows an institution to manage, identify, and engage with their Alumni in a meaningful way.

The Alumni Management functions available are:

• Add existing Students to Alumni - Student information is used for the new Alumni
• Add New to Alumni - information is entered for the new Alumni
• Manage Alumni - modify or delete Alumni
• Alumni Communication Log - record entries to a communication log/diary for Alumni
• Email Alumni - send email to Alumni
• Communication - send bulk email to Alumni using a mailing list interface
• Report - create Alumni information reports or export in Excel format

Bulk Invoice creation and emailing for Students and Agents

The Meshed Platform Accounts functionality has been enhanced to allow the bulk creation and emailing of invoices for Students and Agents.  This includes both Tuition fee invoices or Miscellaneous fee invoices.

Attendance - Cancel Class

The Meshed Platform Attendance recording function has been enhanced to allow a Class to be Cancelled with no impact on the enrolled Students attendance calculations.

Major Enhancements

BPAY Integration

The Meshed Platform can now be integrated with BPAY. 

BPAY is an electronic bill payment system in Australia which enables payments to be made through a financial institution's online, mobile or telephone banking facility to organisations which are registered BPAY billers.

Integration with BPAY supports the following functions:

• Generate a Customer Reference Number (CRN) for an Applicant and/or a Student.
• Display the Biller Code and CRN on templates, for example Offer Letters and Invoices.
• Import a BPAY Remittance File (BRF) for payment settlement in the Meshed Platform.

TCSI - Course prior credit

To support TCSI reporting the Meshed Platform has been enhanced to capture and report relevant TCSI information for the Course prior credit.

Multiple Course Prior Credit can be captured and each can be individually modified, deleted, or reported to TCSI.

The Meshed Platform Staff Mailing List function has been enhanced to show College Email address for Staff.

Management of Superseded Subjects

When Students are studying a Course for a long period of time, some of the Subjects can be superseded by new Subject codes or names. 

The Meshed Platform has been enhanced to provide functionality to manage superseded Subjects.  

This enhanced functionality relates to the following:

• Subject Requisite
• Student Subject Completion Summary
• Student Academic Summary for Course
• Course Templates
• Reports

Student Certificate Register - Type

The Meshed Platform Student Certificate Register has been enhanced to show the Document Type for each Certificate in the register.

Applicant TCSI Information

To support TCSI reporting the Meshed Platform has been enhanced to capture relevant applicant TCSI information during the Application process when required.

Where relevant to the Course application, Step 3 on the Application Form enables TCSI information to be entered by the Applicant.

Full Time and Part Time Courses

To support TCSI reporting the Meshed Platform has been enhanced to provide the option of recording the Course Delivery as:

• Full Time
• Part Time
• Both

Custom Fields - Text Area Input

The Meshed Platform Custom Fields feature has been enhanced to allow Users to define a Text Area input Control Type.

This allows for input and display of larger amounts of text.

To support TCSI reporting the Meshed Platform has been enhanced to capture and report relevant TCSI information for the following:

• The SA-HELP loan packet which is used to report SA-HELP loans.
• The OS-HELP loan packet which is used to report OS-HELP loans.

Semester Result Release Date

This date determines for each Semester when Student Subject and Assessment Task results will be made available to Students in the Student Portal and the Meshed Mobile app.

SMS Templates - Parameters

The Meshed Platform has been enhanced to provide functionality to include parameters in SMS Templates. 

Parameters can be used in the body of the SMS Template e.g. Student first name, last name, date of birth (DOB), Student ID etc. These parameters will be replaced by the value automatically when sending the SMS to the recipients.
